As important as the "front end" is to the success of a complex computer program, the "back end," which typically runs on a server, is where the serious computing is done. After learning to be a Front-End Developer, you can take your skills to the next level by becoming a Full-Stack Developer. When you advance to full-stack development you will learn to program in Java to develop the back-end server software that powers enterprise and consumer applications. You will develop a complex, multi-player game with Java-based server software with a web-based game-player interface that you will implement in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will then complete a Java-based capstone project of your own choice.
